Photo Workshops

Have you seen “Born into Brothels?” If you haven’t, you should. I was so moved by this documentary that I immediately researched photography workshops for kids and scoured for opportunities to join a team.

The first opportunity, Project Souarna, came in 2009 and truly changed my life and I’m pretty sure the lives of our students.

Workshops:

  • Project Souarna, Amman Jordan, 2009
  • 5th grade at Harvey Milk Middle School, San Francisco, CA, 2011
  • 8th grade class at EC Reems Academy, Oakland, CA 2012
