Funny Travel Stories

Did you see that? Am I jet-lagged or did that just happen?

I love stories, and I’d love to feature your funny travel adventures here.

Of course you may be too busy surviving the moment to catch it on video, but retelling it is always funny.  Re-enactments and dramatizations are strongly encouraged. Let’s test the theory that truth is stranger than fiction.

(Info on how to submit your video stories, coming soon)

*Why skating in the jungle? It’s extracted from this real life invitation from my dear friend with whom I survived architecture school, and traveled with to Madrid and Paris.

“April and I embark on a skateboarded journey into the rainforest with only lavender body oil and a pack of chocolate luna bars as comfort. We bond with monkeys and build mud towers reaching through the trees. We seek internet cafes as refuge and for blogging purposes. We return to the forest to formulate prototypical eco-tree dwellings for the urban masses.” —V.R.
